An Invitation to Join the American College of Cardiology

Recognizing that CV disease takes place in a border-free world, we in the global community must continue to share our knowledge, expertise and experiences to achieve the common goal of enhancing cardiovascular health and providing excellent patient care. In recent years, we have seen tremendous advances in information exchange capabilities, enabled primarily by the growth in digital communications capabilities. Using these capabilities, we have been able to collaborate even more, sharing best practices and leading research from the world’s brightest CV physicians.

The ACC acknowledges that in communities outside the United States, CV physicians may have gone through different processes in achieving their professional status. For that reason and because of the acknowledged value of the international members, the ACC has adjusted the international member requirements for the F.A.C.C. I would like to invite you to review those requirements and to apply to become a Fellow of the ACC today.

In recent years, we have also introduced a new category of membership, the International Associate. This membership is offered to those overseas cardiovascular specialists who either wish to access ACC’s outstanding member benefits for a modest annual dues amount, or who have not yet attained the level of training and experience required for Fellowship.

Whichever category you choose, we look forward to welcoming you to membership and to striving side by side to address the challenges in enhancing cardiovascular health and patient care.
