Model Local Coverage Determinations

Model LCDs are a product of the ACC Carrier Advisory Committee (CAC), which in recent years has begun to develop model LCDs for Medicare Carriers to consider. The purpose of the model LCDs was to gain consensus on standards of care and provide our members with tools and data to enhance the quality of care for patients and improve LCDs.

The model LCDs were joint efforts with the respective subspecialties to develop the most comprehensive and complete document.
