Dr. Richard Chazal, Governor of the ACC Florida Chapter, told those present at the Miami Road Show kickoff that, while every year approximately 13,000 women die of heart disease in Florida, there are several behaviors— such as smoking, obesity and physical inactivity— that when modified can prevent heart disease.
