Target Audience

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the user will be able to:

Format
This product is available in convenient online, CD-ROM, and print formats that are sold together as a package. Please note that the CD-ROM runs on PCs only and is not compatible with Macs.

CathSAP 3 does not provide extensive training or offer certification in the field of cardiology.

Purchasers of CathSAP 3 Can Get 40 Points Toward the ABIM’s
Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program

To receive points toward MOC from CathSAP, you must:

  1. Be enrolled in the MOC program with the ABIM.
  2. Use the online version of CathSAP 3.

    a. The online version is available to all purchasers of CathSAP 3 at www.cardiosource.com. If you do not know your username and password to get into the Cardiosource site, please contact ACC’s resource center at 800-253-4636, x5603.

    b. To access CathSAP 3 once you have logged in to Cardiosource:

    • Click the Products tab at the top of the screen.
    • Click Self-Assessment Programs from the drop-down menu
    • Scroll down until you see CathSAP 3 and click the Start Program button.
    • Go into Practice Exam 2, which is second item in the Additional Resources section of the Main Menu.
  3. Complete all 100 questions in Practice Exam 2 online. Once you have answered all 100 questions, a “Claim MOC” link will appear at the top of the screen. If this link does not appear, it is likely that you may have skipped a question or two. Review the list of questions on the left side of the screen to find any you may have missed.
  4. Click the Claim MOC link and follow the instructions to transmit your data electronically to the ABIM.
