CT Angiography for the Cardiologist

Editors:
Gregory S. Thomas, MD, MPH, FACC
L. Samuel Wann, MD, MACC

This online program was developed to meet the needs of many cardiologists who were not able to attend the live program in April. This is the first broad-based ACC and ASNC co-sponsored course on CT Angiography designed specifically for the cardiologist. If you are performing CTA or wish to do so, this is the course for you. The faculty consists of an expert group of cardiologists already performing the procedure who share their insights into how they started, how they optimally perform the procedure and what they believe its indications to be.

Course Topics Include:

  • Indications for Coronary and Peripheral CTA
  • Optimizing patients for Coronary CTA
  • Optimizing Coronary CTA imaging techniques
  • Handling the non-cardiac anatomy
  • How CTA might be used in the ER
  • When to use CTA relative to Nuclear Imaging, Cath and MRI
  • The future of CTA
