Program Objectives
Upon completion of the course the participant will be able to:

1. Explain the pharmacology and pharmacokinetics of the drugs discussed for each clinical condition.
2. Discuss the drugs of choice for each disease, as well as alternative treatment.
3. Discuss potential side effects, recognize adverse reactions and discuss their management.
4. Demonstrate clinical application of the pharmacology content through case study discussion

Accreditation
The American College of Cardiology Foundation (ACCF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The ACCF takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of this CME activity.

The ACCF designates this activity for a maximum of 5.5 Category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he or she actually spent in the educational activity.

The ACCF is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This program will offer up to 6.6 contact hours of nursing education.

While offering CME/CE credits noted above, the program is not intended to provide extensive training or certification in the field.

Cancellations
Cancellation, substitution or transfer to another course is allowed if written cancellation is received four weeks before a scheduled course. A full refund minus a $100 processing fee will be given for written cancellations received fewer than four weeks before the first day of the program. No refund will be given for no-shows.

In the unlikely event that the program is cancelled, the College will refund the registration fee in full but is not responsible for any travel or hotel costs you may incur.
