Chapters
Fellows in training who are ACC members are invited to join their local chapters at no charge. ACC chapters work on the state and local levels to ensure that future cardiologists have:

• a regulatory environment that supports cardiology;
• resolution of third-party payer issues that hinder quality care; and
• legislators who listen to cardiologists and work to craft legislation that the medical community supports.

The additional resources available to members at the chapter level include:

• local continuing medical education;
• a forum to network with peers; and
• events specifically for Fellows in training.
