Fellows in Training Committee

 

ACC is pleased to announce the formation of the Fellows in Training (FIT) Committee. The committee was formed to undertake activities that will benefit Fellows in Training members, including young cardiologists. Our committee members will address the professional needs of all FITs and expand the opportunities and benefits available through the ACC. We are also actively increasing the number of FIT representatives to the College's committees and task forces. ACC '06 Meeting Minutes

The Fellows in Training Committee shall:

  1. Represent the interests of fellow in training (FIT) members of the College in the development of ACC initiatives and programs;
  2. Provide guidance in the development of activities designed to foster FIT participation in ACC activities and to enhance leadership skills;
  3. Serve as a resource to the ACC on matters related to the education and career development of early career members; facilitate development of mentoring relationships and networking opportunities.
