Committee Charge and Listing of Committee Members

The Committee shall:

  1. Represent the interest of female cardiologist, as well as the other members in developing ACCF initiatives and programs; and
  2. Serve as a resource to the ACC Foundation on matters relating to the professional development of female cardiologist, in particular, in dealing with the standards of safety for delivery and receipt of cardiovascular care and in recommending changes in training programs, mentoring, networking, and advisement for the advancement of interested and promising cardiologist.

The committee shall include a chair and six members. A member from the Cardiology Training and Workforce Committee shall serve as an ex officio member. In addition, a fellow-in-training shall serve on the Committee.
