ACC.O8, Chicago, March 29-April 1, 2008

Congenital Cardiology Solutions 2008 (CCS.08) will debut at the ACC 57th Annual Scientific Session (ACC.08) in Chicago and will combine the best of the traditional programming for cardiologists and surgeons specializing in congenital heart disease with live interventional cases demonstrating the latest in medical and scientific advances in interventional therapies.

More than 400 physicians, surgeons and cardiac care team members, specializing in congenital heart disease, are expected to attend this two day meeting. Specific topics include:

  • Imaging strategies for congenital heart defect patients
  • Transition of pediatric CHD patients to adult CHD clinics
  • Molecular and genetic aspects of CHD
  • CHD surgical techniques and outcomes
  • Repair and care of PFO, VSD and Aortic coarctation
  • Sudden cardiac death in young athletes
  • Arrhythmia management of adult CHD patients
  • Plus, one day of live interventional cases from leading pediatric cardiology and CHD programs

Developed by pediatric and congenital heart disease cardiologists and surgeons, CCS.08 is designed to meet the needs of quality, collaboration and long term patient care issues, pertinent to pediatric cardiologists, adult congenital cardiologists, congenital interventional cardiologists and cardiac surgeons.

Join us for this inaugural assembly, devoted to examining issues related to the more than 10,000 catheterizations performed annually on patients with congenital heart disease
