This document is the consensus statement of a Core Cardilogy
Training Symposium held at the American College of Cardiology
Heart House, June 27-28, 1994. The report is an update
and revision of the 1986 17th Bethesda Conference: Adult
Cardiology Training (J Am Coll Cardiol 1986;7:1195-218)
and also considers materials published in several recent
consensus statements. The COCATS Guidelines were approved
of Trustees of the American College of Cardilogy on October
15, 1994.
This statement was published in the Journal of the
