The ACC-CathKIT®
is an interactive, Web-based resource that consolidates all
the key information and tools a cardiac catheterization laboratory
needs to enhance quality of care. The product covers a wide
range of topics from room dimensions to credentialing requirements,
image quality, scheduling efficiency, and standards of care.
In addition to best practice standards, the ACC-CathKIT®
includes a didactic tutorial on the principles of continuous
quality improvement (CQI) and a step-by-step process for applying
a CQI methodology in the cath lab to conduct a CQI project.
The ACC-CathKIT® is intended to assist
the cardiac cath lab team with improving their systems, processes,
and ultimately—patient outcomes.
