Poll: LDL Levels After ACS
In patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS), the goal of treating elevated low-density lipoprotein (LDL) is to lower the incidence of cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, stroke, and recurrent ischemic events. All patients with coronary artery disease should receive long-term, intensive lipid-lowering therapy.
