ACC’s 65th Annual Scientific Session will feature sessions and lectures designed to disrupt your thinking and ignite innovation. Members of the cardiovascular care team from around the world will join together at this intersection of science and change in Chicago, IL from April 2 – 4.

The program committee – comprised of some of the best and brightest in their respective fields – is committed to providing the most valuable and up-to-date content at ACC.16. Once again, the meeting will feature “more learning, less lecturing” in order to give attendees as much practical training, education and networking as possible in our dynamic three-day format. We know you’ll want to get back to your patients and everyday lives quickly – refreshed and ready to apply what you’ve learned in Chicago.

ACC.16 has 12 Learning Pathways, each focused on an essential clinical area in cardiovascular care. Start each morning with Late-Breaking Clinical Trials (LBCTs) featuring new research results, devices or pharmaceuticals that may transform the practice of cardiology. Be sure to attend the special deep-dive sessions on Sunday and Monday to hear experts review the impact of the LBCT results.

This year’s Intensive Sessions focus on new and growing areas of cardiovascular practice, including lifestyle medicine, women’s cardiovascular health, precision medicine and professional development. These half-day sessions will provide take-home information, ideas and a review of clinical experiences that can be applied at the point of care.

This year’s Keynote Lectures feature legends in the field that have made outstanding contributions to the field of cardiovascular medicine. In addition, there are networking opportunities abound and the Lounge & Learn Pavilion will be back to provide attendees with a casual space to talk shop, catch up with old friends and make new connections.
