Telehealth

Digital health is increasingly becoming an important mechanism of chronic disease care, especially in cardiology. ACC has developed the Telehealth Workbook to provide guidance on conducting telehealth visits to effectively manage cardiovascular care, including what should happen prior to, during and post-visit. Additionally, it also includes resources to existing ACC tools that may complement your telehealth visits.

Guideline-directed medical therapy and indications for intervention as needed will not change with telehealth, but we hope this guidance helps create high-quality telehealth visits with a great patient and clinician experience.

Telehealth Workbook

This workbook offers guidance for conducting a telehealth visit for pre, during and post-visit. It includes specific recommendations on the management of heart failure (HF), atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and atrial fibrillation (AFib).
