No previo us advocacy experience is necessary to join in the discussions.
\nThis Fireside Chat will discuss the benefits that effective a dvocacy can have on shaping the future of cardiovascular care and how you can participate in these efforts. We will also get a behind-the-scenes loo k at the recent advocacy efforts and discuss ACC Legislative Conference 20 25\, taking place Oct. 5-7 in Washington\, DC. \nDavid E. Winchester\, MD\, MS\, FACC\, is curren tly a professor of medicine and radiology at the University of Florida Col lege of Medicine in Gainesville\, FL\, and a senior medical advisor for th e Veterans Affairs Office of Integrated Veterans Affairs Care\, and is ass ociate program director for the internal medicine residency. He is the lea d author for the Appropriate Use Criteria for Imaging in Chronic Coronary Disease and is the current Chair of ACC's Board of Governors as well as a member of ACC's delegation to the American Medical Association House of De legates.
