Work, practice, expense and liability relative value units (RVUs) are updated annually through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS') Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) rulemaking. In response to the recently released 2027 Medicare PFS proposed rule, your ACC has developed a PFS calculator so clinicians and practice managers can estimate the potential impact of changes to their practices.

Of note, many services see small impacts to their practice expense RVUs due to proposed changes to the practice expense formula. The tool includes new codes and/or values for PCI with drug-coated balloon, transcatheter tricuspid valve interventions, left atrial appendage occlusion and more.
