Professional Bio:

Dr. Canonico works as Post-Doctoral Fellow at CPC Clinical Research, University of Colorado. He completed the residency in Cardiovascular Diseases at University of Sassari (Italy) and PhD program in Clinical and Experimental Medicine at University of Naples Federico II (Italy). During the training Dr. Canonico developed a great interest for research in the field of clinical cardiology. From the beginning of the education, the main focus of his clinical activity has been clinical the non-invasive management of coronary and peripheral artery disease and heart failure. Dr. Canonico serves as co-investigator in clinical trials in particular on coronary and peripheral artery disease and heart failure. He is also member of the most important national and international Cardiology Societies and peer reviewer of different peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Canonico is a Member of Vascular Disease Section Leadership of the ACC.
