Who Are The 2025 ACC FIT Jeopardy Winners?

Forty domestic and four international teams competed in a friendly, game show-style competition to test their clinical knowledge at ACC.25

During the American College of Cardiology’s Annual Scientific Session (ACC.25), 40 domestic teams and four international teams faced off in the ACC Fellows-in-Training (FIT) Jeopardy competition. The Missouri Chapter of the ACC won the domestic FIT Jeopardy competition and ACC’s Singapore Chapter won the international FIT Jeopardy competition.

ACC FIT Jeopardy is a game show-style competition among domestic and international fellows-in-training that tests their clinical knowledge of a variety of topics, including prevention, imaging, intervention and more. The popular competition fosters FIT engagement in their state or national chapters and features Jeopardy categories based on the American Board of Internal Medicine Cardiovascular Disease Exam Blueprint. ACC members submit hundreds of questions across multiple cardiovascular categories to be included in the competition.

The Missouri Chapter team included the following:

  • Arshad Muhammad Iqbal, MD, University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri
  • Raja Zaghlol, MD, Washington University, St. Louis
  • Shreyas Venkataraman, MD, Washington University, St. Louis

The Singapore Chapter team included the following:

  • Amar Vaswani, MD, National Heart Center Singapore
  • Jack Choo, MD, National Heart Center Singapore
  • Richard Lu, MD, National Heart Center Singapore

All winners will receive a cash prize. The domestic chapter winning team earns the opportunity to defend their title in the 2026 ACC FIT Jeopardy competition to be held March 28-30, 2026, during ACC.26 in New Orleans.
