Latin America Region Clinicians Named Fellows of American College of Cardiology

14 clinicians recognized in first ACC Convocation ceremony held in region

The American College of Cardiology (ACC) recognized 14 individuals from throughout the Latin America region who have earned the distinguished Fellow of the ACC (FACC) designation at the conclusion of the ACC Latin America 2025 conference in Mexico City. This is the first time an ACC Convocation has been held in Latin America.

“The prestigious FACC designation recognizes a commitment to improving patient care and outcomes,” said ACC President Christopher M. Kramer, MD, FACC. “Cardiovascular disease remains the number one killer worldwide and will require the global cardiology community to continually improve prevention and treatment for our patients. We are excited to welcome these individuals who are dedicated to the ACC’s goal of transforming cardiovascular care for all. Congratulations to all of our new FACCs on this exciting achievement!”
