ACC Advocacy Fireside Chat: What to Know About Advocacy at the ACC

The Advocacy Fireside Chat series was created to spark an interest in health care policy and to begin cultivating future leaders by providing an opportunity to connect Fellows in Training and early-career members with advocacy experts and ACC leaders. No previous advocacy experience is necessary to join in the discussions.
This Fireside Chat, hosted by ACC's Fellows in Training and Early Career Member Sections, will discuss how to get started in advocacy from the local to national level and how advocacy is vital to shaping cardiovascular care at all levels. Participants will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the recent advocacy efforts and discuss ACC Legislative Conference 2026, taking place Oct. 4-6 in Washington, DC.
