The ACC hosted the New Orleans Health Fair on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Treme Recreation Community Center, bringing FREE heart health education and community resources directly to the local community, featuring local health care professionals, community advocates, universities and cultural organizations.
Building on the success of prior outreach events in Chicago and Atlanta, which engaged hundreds of participants, partners and ACC volunteers, the College was proud to give back to New Orleans, the host city for its 2026 Annual Scientific Session. These efforts reflected ACC's ongoing commitment to transforming cardiovascular care and improving heart health for all.
This year's health fair celebrated the spirit of New Orleans while spotlighting cardiovascular wellness, early detection and equitable care to help build stronger, heart‑healthier communities. All screenings and activities were free for participants.

The New Orleans Health Fair was a collaboration between the ACC's Health Equity Activities Work Group, the ACC Louisiana Chapter, community partners and local universities, with the goal of improving community heart health, strengthening ties with community-based organizations and public health agencies and inspiring future action.
