ACCEL Lite: Office, Home, and Ambulatory BP Measurements and Correlation With LV Mass
Current guidelines recommend measuring out-of-office blood pressure (BP) to confirm office BP in the hypertension range. The results of a study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology suggest that home BP measurement may be the best approach for out-of-office BP monitoring. In this interview, Alison Bailey, MD, FACC; Daichi Shimbo, MD; and Nosheen Reza, MD, discuss the reliability of office, home, and ambulatory BP measurements and correlation with left ventricular mass.
