The American College of Cardiology (ACC) is interested in understanding the decision factors which internal medicine residents, like you, consider when choosing a subspecialty and is asking residents across the United States to participate in this study.

Your feedback will help us better focus ACC initiatives and efforts to best support you in your decision process and education. In addition, the results of this research will be published to increase the understanding of subspecialty decision making factors.

The COVID 19 pandemic has revealed the impact that historical and structural contributors have on health disparities. The ACC’s strategic plan highlights diversity and inclusion; specifically, it aims to increase the diversity and cultural competency of the cardiovascular workforce, which ultimately will improve health equity.
