WASHINGTON (Aug 12, 2015) -

The American College of Cardiology ACC.15 eMeeting App was named Best Meeting App in the Professional Convention Management Association Convene magazine’s fourth annual Best in Show competition. The  competition honors achievements and innovations in the meetings industry in 10 different categories, including technology, food and beverage, venues, and room sets.

The ACC.15 app was available for meeting attendees to download for easy access to sessions, abstracts, exhibitors, maps and more while they were on site at ACC.15 in San Diego. Features included the ability to browse meeting sessions by day, content pathway, practice focus or session type. Attendees were also able to build their own customized itinerary to export to their calendar.

A key new feature in the ACC.15 app was to allow users to mark a session for continuing medical education credit, then easily claim CME any time during or after the meeting.

Winners were nominated by Convene magazine readers and selected by magazine editors.
