We are a young, vibrant section dedicated to adding value to Section members interested in Innovation across the cardiovascular spectrum. Our section is member-driven and focused on all aspects of health care innovation, including areas of broad focus career development, such as entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and care pathway development; and more content specific areas, such as artificial intelligence (AI), digital health and digital twins.
Like any new venture, we take a deliverable-based approach to our focus areas. These deliverables vary based on the project leaders and include manuscripts, webinars and in-person events. Here are current focus areas for the Section:
- Future Hub. This is a Hub on the Expo floor at ACC's Annual Scientific Session arranged and organized by a member taskforce from our Section. Please join us at our next Future Hub!
- Innovation Initiatives across the ACC. We are seeking to identify and connect members with Innovation opportunities across the College.
- Cross-Sectional Committee on AI. This is a work in progress! Our goal is to create a cross-sectional committee that will spearhead AI initiatives across all cardiovascular care.
