Explore NCDR Research at ACC.24

Abstracts based on NCDR data will be presented at ACC.24, taking place April 6-8 in Atlanta, GA. This research highlights the power of NCDR data to test hypotheses on patient risk factors and outcomes, procedure and treatment trends, diversity, health equity and inclusion, guideline adherence, device, facility and provider characteristics, quality of care and more.

Those interested in leveraging NCDR data to answer complex questions and inform higher quality cardiovascular care can submit a research proposal to the NCDR Research & Publications Subcommittee. To ensure their proposal has the best chance for acceptance, applicants should follow the research proposal application guidelines provided by the committee.

  • Review the Investigator’s Guide to NCDR Research
  • Be aware of submission deadlines
  • Choose the appropriate registry for your research question
  • Ensure your research proposal idea has no overlap with in-progress or published work
  • Request an NCDR Mentor to assist throughout the NCDR research submission process (to request a mentor, email ncdrresearch@acc.org with the subject line 'Mentor Request')
  • Determine your source of funding (either NCDR funding or external)
