Veradigm to Conclude Practice-Based Registries After 2025 MIPS Submission
Veradigm has announced that it will discontinue its Practice‑Based Registries (the Cardiology Registry and the Metabolic Registry) following completion of the 2025 Merit‑based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) submission period, expected to conclude on or around March 31, 2026.
According to Veradigm, practices currently participating in these registries will experience no disruption through the 2025 MIPS reporting cycle, and the company will continue to support all required submissions for the 2025 performance year. However, the quality dashboard will no longer update beyond 2025, and access will be disabled after March 31.
Practices participating in the registries will need to select and engage a new Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)‑approved Qualified Registry for MIPS reporting and quality improvement for the 2026 performance year. Polaris, offered through the MRO Corporation, is a potential option beginning with the 2026 program year. Selection of a registry provider remains entirely at the discretion of each practice.
