The PRESC1SE-MI trial evaluated whether an accelerated diagnostic pathway for suspected myocardial infarction could improve Emergency Department efficiency without compromising safety. Compared with standard care, the accelerated strategy demonstrated similar safety but did not reduce Emergency Department length of stay.
