ACCEL Lite: Remote Exercise SWEDEHEART: Cross-over Trial on Cardiac Telerehabilitation
Remote Exercise SWEDEHEART was designed to address persistently low participation in traditional cardiac rehabilitation following myocardial infarction. By delivering exercise-based rehabilitation remotely, the study aims to make recovery programs more accessible and convenient for patients. Unlike prior telerehabilitation studies, this trial is designed to provide robust evidence on its role in routine post-myocardial infarction care.
In this episode, Nanette Kass Wenger MD, MACC and Maria Bäck, Professor, FESC discuss Remote Exercise SWEDEHEART: a cluster randomized cross-over trial on cardiac telerehabilitation.
