Professional Bio:

Samuel F. Sears, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Departments of Psychology and Cardiovascular Sciences at East Carolina University. Dr. Sears conducts research and provides clinical care at the East Carolina Heart Institute. He has published well over 150 articles in the medicine and psychology research literatures with particular emphasis on quality of life and patient outcomes in high tech medicine.
