The Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) was ranked #1 among all cardiology journals for a second year in a row based on newly released 2019 Google Scholar Metrics.

JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions and JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging also received high rankings – #6 and #12 – respectively among cardiology journals. Google Scholar Metrics aim to provide authors with a streamlined way to quickly gauge the visibility and influence of recent articles in scholarly publications.

Journals are ordered by their five-year h-index and h-median metrics. By clicking on a journal's h-index number, users can see which articles in each publication were cited the most and who cited them.

"Congratulations to all JACC authors, reviewers and editorial board members for their contributions that made this highly significant ranking possible," said JACC Editor-in-Chief Valentin Fuster, MD, PhD, MACC.
