ABIM ACHD Certification Exam Registration Now Open

The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) is preparing to offer the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Certification Examination for the first time on Oct. 20, 2015. Interested candidates will be able to register March 1 – May 15, 2015. Late registration (May 16 – June 1) requires a non-refundable fee of $400. The seat scheduling period for this exam will begin on May 1.

Pediatric cardiologists seeking admission to this exam must first obtain an ABIM ID. To obtain an ABIM ID, they must visit ABIM.org/FindID and complete the form to see if their name is in the system.  If it is not, pediatric cardiologists can call ABIM after March 1 at 1-800-441-2246 and they will receive an ABIM ID via e-mail within 24 to 48 hours.

If you have any questions about the ACHD Certification program, please contact ABIM at 1-800-441-2246 Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon ET.
