Learning Destinations
ACC.15 educational opportunities don't end in the session rooms. The Expo will host five of its very own specialty, non-accredited education venues: the Industry-Expert Theaters, Innovation Stage, Interactive Learning Lab, Sim Center and Patient Engagement Pavilion.

Presentations in the Industry-Expert Theaters (#3545 and #145) will share the latest in cardiovascular practices, services and technologies while attendees enjoy refreshments or lunch. Lecture topics include the paradox of the stable heart failure patient, how the treatment of sleep apnea can improve cardiovascular health, and more.

The Innovation Stage (#1147), known for its relaxed setting and intimate format, will host sessions on topics including PCSK9 genetics and LDL-C metabolism, the evolution and innovation of monoclonal antibodies, and more.

The hands-on Interactive Learning Lab (#2151) will feature individualized, case-study reviews with renowned experts in echocardiography on an echo-enhancing agent designed to improve left ventricular opacification and endocardial border delineation.

The ACC has partnered with Body Interact to provide attendees with a unique, highly interactive, virtual training experience in the Sim Center (#3932). Attendees can interact with a virtual patient during eight clinical case presentations while utilizing guidelines and clinical evidence.

Patient Engagement Pavilion (#3448) participants will present how their offerings empower patients, clinicians and caregivers to work together to achieve measurable improvements in cardiovascular outcomes, a reduction in the costs of providing care, and improved patient satisfaction. Presentations include the College's SmartCare pilot project, the Patient Navigator Program, the CardioSmart initiative, and more.
