A Day in the Life of an Early Career Professional: John J. Ryan, MD, FACC

Profile | John J. Ryan, MD, FACC, may be considered an early career cardiologist, but he is also considered a mentor and a leader at the University of Utah Hospital, where he works in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine. He was recruited in 2013 to help build and grow the Dyspnea program, and is co-director of the Dyspnea Clinic, a combined, multidisciplinary Pulmonary Hypertension and Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction program between the University of Utah Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. In addition to his duties at the University of Utah Hospital, he is involved in numerous ACC projects, and is a member of the ACC.org Editorial Board, a member of ACC’s Informatics and Health Information Technology Task Force and a member of the Annual Scientific Session Program Committee.
