2016 US News & World Report Heart Rankings: Get Credit For Publicly Reporting Via NCDR

For the second year, hospitals that publicly report through the CathPCI Registry and/or ICD Registry will receive credit as part of the US News & World Report’s Best Hospitals in Cardiology & Heart Surgery. US News & World Report’s methodology changes, announced last year, are intended to “drive broader transparency.” For the 2016 rankings, 3 percentage points of a facility’s Cardiology & Heart Surgery score will be tied to registry participation. If your hospital is not currently publicly reporting and would like to receive credit in the 2016 rankings, paperwork must be submitted to the NCDR by Jan. 31. Visit ACC.org/PublicReporting for the data release consent forms and additional information.
