Late last year, the ACC and multiple appropriate vested societies released the 2016 Appropriate Use Criteria for Coronary Revascularization in Patients With Acute Coronary Syndromes. In March this year, they released the companion appropriate use criteria (AUC): 2017 Appropriate Use Criteria for Coronary Revascularization in Patients With SIHD. For the first time, the AUC for coronary revascularization have been divided into two statements.
