Poll: Anticoagulation and Antiplatelet Strategies (Part 3)

Anticoagulant and antiplatelet strategies continue to evolve for multiple reasons but represent a real challenge for clinicians. First, there continues to be new outcome data potentially demystifying "accepted beliefs." In addition, there are new agents that potentially enhance early onset of action, particularly in acute settings. However, there remains an ongoing tension between the benefits of anticoagulation verses the risk both acutely and long term, encouraging a more balanced decision-making approach aimed at selecting strategies based on a "net benefit" approach. To that end, this series of polls addresses many facets of these issues in current practice behavior. Our ability to provide more frequent polls and greater visibility will improve with changes in social media and online updates, so it is my hope that we will be able to generate more robust profiles of interventional practice going forward. Thanks for your support.
