Cardiosource, the ACC’s information and education portal, provides
access to Heart Authority, a new patient Web site offering member-generated
patient counseling materials. This site, developed in collaboration
with Healthology, provides cardiologists a unique place to direct patients
for information on the most common conditions seen in a cardiology
practice.
Peripheral Vascular Diseases and You
Blood vessel diseases affect a large fraction of our population, can
predict heart attack and stroke, and lead to disability or death.
Vascular medicine specialists can offer patients and their families
an accurate diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease,
cerebrovascular disease, renal arterial disease, chronic venous disease,
deep vein thrombosis, and lymphedema.
