Become a Cardiovascular Team Member of the ACC

Genetic Counselors are an important part of the cardiovascular team, helping to identify predispositions for cardiovascular diseases. ACC membership can provide counselors with the connections and resources they need to ensure they can provide optimal care to their patients and/or clients.

Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and be licensed to practice in their state of employment. Applicants must submit a signed sponsorship form letter from a current member of the ACC to apply.

Those who have been CVT Members of the ACC for at least two years are invited to apply for the advanced designation, Associate of the American College of Cardiology (AACC). Find out more about the value of the AACC designation >>>

How to Apply: The Application Process

To apply, submit your application packet consisting of:

  • Completed Application Form
  • Copy of Your Practicing License License OR NCCPA certification if you are federally employed in the US
  • Completed and Signed Sponsorship Letter from a Current FACC, AACC or CVT Member
  • Payment of Annual Dues + Application Fee ($125 US)

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your application to be processed and for delivery of your Membership Login information.

Your Sponsors and Sponsorship Letters

Annual Dues and Fees

Please submit a total of $125 US with your application.

Annual dues are $100 US

Applicants must also submit a $25 application fee.
