Professional Bio:

Ronald D. Scott, MD is a Kaiser Permanente Southern California (KPSC) and KP national cardiovascular leader since 2009. KP is an integrated healthcare system with 10.5 million members nationally, and 4.5 million members in KPSC. Dr. Scott works with others to develop and implement guidelines related to cardiovascular disease and prevention, including screening and treatment. KP leverages an integrated delivery system, clinical decision support, and teamwork to achieve high levels of quality performance across many domains, including optimizing statin use. Dr. Scott was 2009 West LA Family Medicine Physician of the Year, and been part of teams winning multiple awards and recognitions for quality work on behalf of KPSC and KP.
