Welcome to the home of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Caribbean Chapter.
Currently the only International Chapter of the ACC that represents a region rather than a country, the Caribbean Chapter represents 11 different Caribbean territories including English-, Spanish- and Dutch-speaking islands. The formation of the Caribbean Chapter was led by the Caribbean Cardiac Society (CCS), which continues to provide the Chapter with administrative and financial support.
After holding its first networking event in November 2011, the Chapter hopes to provide its members with increased opportunities for intra-regional discourse, research and collaboration in the future. In upcoming months, the Chapter hopes to further establish its local governance structure to guide activities over the longer term. To find out more about the Caribbean Chapter, read the full welcome letter from Chapter Representative Richard Ishmael, MD, FACC.
