Welcome to the home of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) China Chapter. Established in Beijing in June, 2010, this Chapter focuses on the interests of patients, physicians and cardiovascular concepts and techniques. The China Chapter strives to maintain a high level of social consciousness and involvement with scientific communication, both in China and abroad, which may influence access to high quality cardiovascular health for all individuals.
On April 2, 2011, the China Chapter joined hands with ACC to hold the first session to uncover the latest research, progresses, and clinical trials in China. Since then the Chapter holds regular joint sessions in ACC congresses between March and April annually.
The China Chapter also houses information on its website, where you can learn about how the Chapter will be participating in ACC.17, as well as how to recruit new FACC with the most advantageous terms on its Chapter. Also, please check this page for continuing updates on the ACC China Chapter's activities.
Tobacco damages not only the whole person but also the whole planet. The harm caused by tobacco use isn't limited to lung cancer, it also exacerbates heart disease and other non-communicable diseases, mental illnesses, and substance abuse problems, as well as damages the environment and undermines human development. Our federation will focus on the cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation, especially tobacco control in the heart disease patients in the upcoming year.
