Two special International Sessions will take place on Friday, March 9 before ACC.18 begins. The Session "Conquering Health Care Challenges in the Emerging World" will be held from 1 – 5 p.m. ET. This free symposium features a panel of experts from Africa, Brazil, China, India and Mexico who will discuss topics such as the status and prevention of female coronary heart disease in China; the role of modernization in cardiovascular risk factors and coronary artery disease (CAD) among the young in India; and the applications and limitations of recent discoveries for preventing cardiovascular diseases.
