Cardiovascular Point of Care Ultrasound: Current Value and Vision for Future Use

Point of care ultrasound (POCUS) has become increasingly popular as a valuable tool for quick and efficient bedside assessment across a multitude of specialties and clinical settings. To encourage innovation and adoption, the ACC has developed the POCUS Workbook to provide guidance on using POCUS in cardiovascular clinical practice.

The workbook highlights common scenarios in various clinical settings and explores the different views and findings that can be found during POCUS evaluation. The workbook also addresses the advantages and barriers of POCUS and provides recommendations based on recent advances.
