Washington, DC –– The American College of Cardiology (ACC) and MedAxiom jointly announce a renewed partnership agreement aimed at leveraging both organizations’ expertise and resources to best meet the practice transformation needs of its cardiovascular practices across the country.
Under the agreement, the ACC and MedAxiom will collaborate on industry training, as well as key practice-focused meetings throughout the year, in order to help both industry and cardiovascular professionals better understand the changing needs of cardiovascular practices and cardiovascular service lines.
The two organizations will also share in the development of practice transformation-related content for CardioSource.org, as well as for other ACC publications as appropriate. Online offerings will include an online “Ask the Expert” feature where cardiovascular professionals can pose specific practice-related questions to MedAxiom experts, as well as webcasts, videos and other resources developed by both the ACC and/or MedAxiom to help cardiovascular practices best navigate changing practice paradigms.
“These are rapidly changing times for cardiovascular practices and the ACC, along with MedAxiom, views this renewed partnership as an important way to ensure a wide range of resources is available to help make practice transformation possible,” said Tom Arend, ACC’s interim chief staff officer and general counsel.
“This renewed agreement is a testament to MedAxiom’s focus on what’s happening today and where cardiology is headed in the future,” says Jennifer Linville, CEO of MedAxiom. “We are very pleased that our organizations have continued to support each other and have come together at a time when our members and the industry are facing significant changes.”
