The American College of Cardiology has been selected as one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare. This is the fourth year in a row that the College has been recognized with this honor.

“The ACC is in the first year of our Strategic Plan, and the College has gone through a number of transitions and transformations recently – and will continue to do so as we work to meet our Mission and realize our Vision,” said ACC CEO Timothy W. Attebery, DSc, MBA, FACHE. “This honor bestowed upon the College is a direct reflection of how well we are doing as an employer in health care throughout these transitions and is the result of the hard work and dedication of ACC’s staff in ensuring that we continue to be a great organization.”

This award program identifies and recognizes outstanding employers in the health care industry nationwide. Modern Healthcare partners with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey. In 2018, ACC was ranked 20 out of 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare in the health care supplier category. In 2017, ACC was ranked 32 in the top 100 best places to work list.
