Navigating the New "Signaling" Component in CV Fellowship Applications
Webinar Overview
Understand and strategically utilize the new program signaling feature for the 2026 Cardiovascular Fellowship MyERAS® application season.
Join ACC's Program Directors and Graduate Medical Educators Member Section for a webinar on how to prepare your cardiovascular fellowship program for the 2026 MyERAS® application season and the implementation of program signaling. This webinar is designed for program directors, faculty, and coordinators to gain a comprehensive understanding of this new feature and its implications for your review process. Program signaling offers applicants a formal mechanism within the MyERAS® application to express significant interest in specific cardiovascular fellowship programs. This session will delve into how applicants utilize this option and, more importantly, how applications where a program is signaled may be weighted heavily during your review. For the 2026 ERAS season, cardiovascular disease fellowships will be allotted 20 signals.
Key Objectives/Learning Outcomes: The goal of this webinar it to inform the fellowship program community about signaling: what it is, why cardiology is participating in it, how cardiology decided on the number of signals, and how best to communicate signaling with applicants.
