ACCEL Lite: Primary PCI in Patients With Active Cancer Presenting With STEMI
Patients with cancer presenting with a heart attack are less likely to receive invasive treatment because of perceived risks and poor outcomes. In this interview, Mamas A. Mamas, MA, DPhil, BMBCh; Ana Barac, MD, PhD, FACC; and Sun Moon Kim, MD, discuss a current study showing that patients with cancer admitted with a heart attack receiving invasive treatment gain as much benefit as patients without cancer.
