This study evaluates whether influenza vaccination improves outcomes in patients with recent myocardial infarctions (MI). Influenza vaccine reduced the risk of the primary composite endpoint of all-cause death, MI, and stent thrombosis. Influenza vaccine also reduced two of the three key secondary endpoints: all-cause death and cardiovascular death.
